Summary
Senior HR leader responsible for overseeing and managing the company's global leave of absence programs, ensuring compliant and efficient administration of FMLA, disability, paid family leave and other leave types. This role partners cross functionally with People team business partners, legal, external vendors and leadership to deliver high quality service and improve leave processes. The leader will develop and maintain policies and procedures and monitor leave trends to recommend program enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee third party leave of absence vendor program process and communications to ensure quality service delivery and timely processing
- Lead and manage end to end process for all team member leave requests including FMLA and disability
- Develop and maintain policies procedures and best practices for managing leaves of absence
- Administer LOA claims tracking dates documentation and approvals related to leaves
- Monitor leave trends and identify opportunities for program improvements and process efficiencies
- Collaborate with People Team business partners leaders and external partners to ensure smooth execution of leaves
- Coordinate return to work plans and provide education on leave programs
- Recommend enhancements to current practices and new plans to serve team members
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience managing leave of absence programs or related HR function
- Strong knowledge of federal state and local leave laws including FMLA and ADA
- Experience with third party leave administrators and HRIS systems
- Experience with Oracle HRIS Dayforce Alight or similar platforms is desirable
- Ability to produce timely deliverables and manage multiple shifting priorities
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Empathetic and supportive approach to working with team members
