Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation and processing of payroll mails and documents daily
- Maintain accurate payroll records including garnishments pay adjustments and tax documents
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local payroll regulations
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding general payroll matters
- Assist with new hire payroll setup and terminations
- Generate payroll reports for internal and external use
- Support audits by gathering payroll records and documentation
- Collaborate with People and IT partners to resolve payroll record discrepancies
- Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information
Requirements
- 2+ years in payroll administration HR or a related field
- Proficiency in payroll software such as UKG Dayforce and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong Excel and Google applications skills
- Ability to accurately process and review payroll data
- Ability to balance multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great phone and customer service skills
- Strong understanding of payroll confidentiality and data protection policies
