Summary
Lead and perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure a safe, operational store environment across multiple locations. Support the Facility Manager by troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, coordinating vendors, mentoring technicians, and maintaining CMMS records. Position requires responding to emergencies and flexible scheduling including nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute planned and on-demand preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and building control issues
- Operate and monitor building control systems and respond to alarms
- Perform equipment and building rounds, identify and report malfunctions
- Delegate tasks and mentor other technicians
- Assist with parts ordering, PO creation, vendor coordination, and meeting participation
- Maintain CMMS records and parts inventory
- Perform manual labor tasks including lifting and moving materials
- Promote and follow safety procedures including LOTO and PPE
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; vocational or associate degree preferred
- 5-7 years hands-on facilities experience with mechanical maintenance
- 5+ years experience with predictive and preventive maintenance
- 5+ years experience with HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs
- Ability to troubleshoot low voltage and building control systems
- Experience with CMMS and ordering systems such as Coupa
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work without supervision and manage multiple deadlines
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work including climbing ladders
