Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician at our Pelham, NY facility, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and building systems. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, supporting the Preventative Maintenance Program, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

• Repair and maintain all process and building equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, process piping, wastewater treatment, electrical, and lighting systems.
• Assist in the completion of the Preventative Maintenance Program and perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Test and inspect emergency and life safety systems to meet FM, NFPA, OSHA, and other agency standards.
• Complete project and fabrication work, coordinating tasks, procuring necessary parts, and communicating with customers and vendors.
• Maintain adequate parts inventory and support outside contractors as needed.
• Consistently follow safe work procedures and promote safety improvements.

• 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use power tools and craft equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and basic plumbing, pipefitting, carpentry, and fabrication skills.
• Good computer skills and strong English communication abilities.
• Flexibility with work hours, including off-shift, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to respond to building-related emergency calls after hours.
