Summary
The Manager Communications and PR leads earned channel strategy and execution for Champagne and sparkling brands in the U.S., building brand desirability through press relations, influencer and celebrity collaborations, and media partnerships while working with digital, brand, maison, and agency partners. This role delivers measurable campaign results, supports reputation and crisis management, and ensures alignment with maison values and global stakeholders. The position is hybrid based out of the New York City office with three days onsite weekly.
Responsibilities
- Develop and contribute to annual communications and public relations plans.
- Create innovative plans across press, talent, and media partnerships.
- Lead day-to-day execution of earned channel campaigns and deliver post-campaign analysis.
- Partner with digital teams on integrated amplification and content production for PR channels.
- Map, cultivate, and manage influencer and celebrity relationships and negotiations.
- Build and maintain relationships with editors, tastemakers, and media outlets to secure coverage.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to align activations with brand goals.
- Support crisis communications and issues management protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience; MBA a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of communications and PR experience, preferably in luxury, lifestyle, CPG, or wines and spirits.
- Proven track record managing press and influencer programs and talent relations.
- Strong writing, presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder influence skills.
- Experience with KPI tracking, reporting, strategic analysis, and project management.
- Crisis communications experience and budget management skills.
- Ability to work in a global matrix organization and collaborate with maisons and HQ stakeholders.
