Manager Health and Safety

As a Manager of Health and Safety at Holt Renfrew, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's Health and Safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting workplace health and safety. You will work closely with various stakeholders to mitigate potential risks and drive continuous improvement across all sites.

• Ensure delivery of Health and Safety programs and systems in conjunction with the Director of Loss Prevention.
• Manage Health and Safety tools, systems, policies, procedures, training, and communication.
• Maintain knowledge of current regulations and implement updates as needed.
• Perform complex analysis of health and safety compliance data.
• Identify trends and potential issues, recommending improvements.
• Provide oversight of Occupational Injury Management vendors.
• Standardize Joint Health and Safety Committees processes.
• Participate in rebate programs and ensure criteria are met.
• Track and report on Health and Safety performance.
• Provide leadership to Health and Safety Committees and perform audits.
• Develop and conduct training programs with internal partners.
• Function as emergency response coordinator.
• Ensure compliance with all Provincial regulatory requirements.
• Lead and motivate a team of high-performing employees.
• Conduct annual reviews of Health and Safety Programs.
• Drive best practices and standardization across all sites.

• Post-secondary degree in a related field.
• 5-7 years of work experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Ability to work a minimum of 3 days per week on-site.
• Required travel to national locations.
• CRSP certification is an asset.
• Strong knowledge in occupational health and safety.
• Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptable and comfortable with change.
• Highly service-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
