Responsibilities- Ensure delivery of Health and Safety programs and systems in conjunction with the Director of Loss Prevention.
- Manage Health and Safety tools, systems, policies, procedures, training, and communication.
- Maintain knowledge of current regulations and implement updates as needed.
- Perform complex analysis of health and safety compliance data.
- Identify trends and potential issues, recommending improvements.
- Provide oversight of Occupational Injury Management vendors.
- Standardize Joint Health and Safety Committees processes.
- Participate in rebate programs and ensure criteria are met.
- Track and report on Health and Safety performance.
- Provide leadership to Health and Safety Committees and perform audits.
- Develop and conduct training programs with internal partners.
- Function as emergency response coordinator.
- Ensure compliance with all Provincial regulatory requirements.
- Lead and motivate a team of high-performing employees.
- Conduct annual reviews of Health and Safety Programs.
- Drive best practices and standardization across all sites.
Requirements- Post-secondary degree in a related field.
- 5-7 years of work experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory role.
- Ability to work a minimum of 3 days per week on-site.
- Required travel to national locations.
- CRSP certification is an asset.
- Strong knowledge in occupational health and safety.
- Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable and comfortable with change.
- Highly service-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
