Manager Operations

Summary

Operations Manager responsible for overseeing all boutique operational functions to ensure smooth running of inventory control, shipping and receiving, alterations, facilities, security, staffing, compliance, and expense management. Acts as the boutique expert on standard operating procedures, systems, and tools while partnering with boutique leaders and Home Office Retail Operations to drive operational efficiency and support client experience.

Responsibilities

• Own day to day operational functions across the boutique including inventory control and shipping and receiving
• Manage alterations, facilities management, and security processes
• Lead resource planning staffing and scheduling to meet boutique needs
• Manage budget forecasting and expense management for the boutique
• Coach and lead operationally aligned staff to deliver consistent performance
• Serve as subject matter expert on standard operating procedures systems and tools
• Collaborate with Home Office Retail Operations to develop and execute strategic initiatives
• Lead projects and take initiative to improve operational efficiency

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of related experience in retail operations or similar
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong organizational attention to detail and multi tasking ability
• Proven people leadership and team development skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including late nights weekends and some holidays
• Ability to lift 15 lbs
• Familiarity with inventory control and boutique operational systems
