Summary
Responsible for ensuring smooth running of store administrative and operational areas, including shipping and receiving, stock room, cash office, repairs, and related administrative duties. Manages shipping and receiving department and ensures merchandise is processed accurately and timely according to company standards. Oversees inventory controls and coordinates with corporate teams to maintain store systems, facilities, and expense management.
Responsibilities
- Manage store operations including stock room inventory, call center, alterations, and celebrity loans.
- Oversee shipping and receiving to ensure timely and accurate processing of merchandise.
- Control budgets and store controllable expenses and collect alterations income.
- Liaise with corporate finance and facilities to resolve expense and system issues.
- Negotiate vendor contracts and process bills for timely payment and proper allocation.
- Maintain and develop inventory controls and act as liaison for store inventories with the General Manager.
- Assess store interior and exterior for repairs, presentation, and safety and coordinate resolutions.
- Drive operational efficiencies to support selling and complete projects on time.
- Lead teams to deliver an elevated customer experience and support Connected retail initiatives.
Requirements
- Relevant retail operations experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills preferred including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Workday, and Outlook.
- Ability to maneuver sales floor, stock/dressing rooms, cashwrap and office; lift up to 30 lbs and climb ladders as trained.
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships, lead teams, and motivate toward profitability objectives.
- Strategic alignment of operational goals with business objectives.
- Strong project management experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
