Summary
Lead the expanded merchandising function with commercial and assortment responsibilities to drive product assortment effectiveness and category performance across channels and regions. Partner with Product Marketing, Supply Chain, Commercial, Visual Merchandising, Store Design and Planning, Digital and Zones to translate product strategy into actionable commercialization plans and support zone execution.
Responsibilities
- Define and manage product assortment strategy by channel and region aligned with brand objectives.
- Identify merchandising opportunities and translate global product plans into local adaptations.
- Define store clusters and oversee store typology framework with assortment planning.
- Validate zone assortment opportunities and organize product showroom feedback for launches.
- Define visible assortment guidelines and product space strategy for in store digital and windows.
- Monitor space productivity and support implementation in new concept store projects and design.
- Determine collection and category placement and in store zoning.
- Build and present performance reviews and dashboards to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Develop and lead a high performing team and drive cross functional collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred.
- 7 years of luxury retail merchandising or strategy development experience; store or zone experience preferred.
- Strong leadership communication and relationship building skills.
- Advanced presentation and content development skills.
- Keen analytical strategic thinking and strong financial acumen.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
- Ability to manage workload amid shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Self motivated with a strong drive for achievement.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint.
