Manager, Sales - Shoes And Ready To Wear

Summary

Lead store sales and operations for the shoes and ready-to-wear departments, driving revenue and delivering an elevated client experience. Coach and develop the sales team to meet individual and store targets while maintaining visual and merchandising standards. Oversee day-to-day floor operations to ensure smooth service and product availability.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and KPIs.
• Develop and maintain clienteling programs to grow repeat business and customer loyalty.
• Ensure merchandise is presented according to visual standards and seasonal directives.
• Manage inventory flow, receiving, stockroom organization, and loss prevention practices.
• Create staff schedules, conduct performance reviews, and support hiring decisions.
• Collaborate with management on promotions, events, and corrective action to improve results.

Requirements

• 4+ years of retail management or supervisory experience, preferably in shoes and ready-to-wear.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and developing sales teams.
• Strong customer service, clienteling, and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems; ability to stand for long periods and handle product stock.
