Summary
The Sustainability Manager supports the execution of regional sustainability strategy across the Americas. The role advances circularity and end-of-life solutions, ESG reporting, compliance, and employee knowledge sharing across Maisons and business functions.
Responsibilities
- Manage the development and implementation of end-of-life and circularity solutions across regional Maisons.
- Lead cross-functional projects to identify circular waste solutions and improve resource efficiency.
- Develop stakeholder engagement and vendor training materials, and monitor circularity performance indicators.
- Coordinate regional ESG data collection and contribute to sustainability reports aligned with recognized standards and frameworks.
- Support impact and risk assessments, gap analyses, audit response plans, supply-chain mapping, and certification audits.
- Develop sustainability training and communicate emerging reporting trends and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally focused on environment, sustainability, business strategy, or operations.
- At least 5 years of experience in corporate ESG or sustainability strategy, standards, regulations, and non-financial reporting, with a focus on circular economy principles.
- Experience in a matrix organization and a record of managing complex projects and cross-functional collaboration.
- Knowledge of product lifecycle assessment, end-of-life processes, sustainability practices, regulations, and reporting frameworks such as GRI, CDP, TCFD, and SBTi.
- Strong research, analytical, project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Familiarity with SAP solutions and sustainability reporting platforms.
