Merchandise Operations Associate

Summary

The Merchandise Operations Associate supports daily merchandise operations including processing inbound product, placement and presentation on the selling floor, and order fulfillment. This role works under the Merchandise Operations Team Supervisor or Manager and requires physical ability to handle merchandise and use technology for inventory and fulfillment tasks. The associate will work a flexible schedule to meet business needs and deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Process inbound merchandise and prepare items for the selling floor
• Place and present merchandise according to visual standards
• Maintain merchandise placement and presentation on an ongoing basis
• Locate merchandise for customer orders and complete in-store fulfillment
• Provide prompt and excellent customer service to address customer needs
• Participate in floor recovery and supply replenishment during peak periods
• Use RF devices and other technology to support inventory and merchandising tasks
• Assist with other store initiatives and ad hoc responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders as needed
• Ability to learn and maintain merchandising and visual standards on the floor
• Strong computer skills and ability to use RF guns, PC, iOS devices, Excel and proprietary platforms
• Capacity to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment with minimal supervision
• Ability to meet deadlines and follow through on assigned tasks
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Dependable with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Valid driver license and ability to drive company vehicle when required
