Summary
The Manager, Merchandising, Fine Jewelry & Timepieces supports the development and execution of merchandising strategies to drive sales, optimize inventory, and improve boutique performance across the network. This role acts as a liaison between boutique teams, local partners, and Paris counterparts to manage assortment, inventory, event programs, and reporting. The position requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain frequent communication with boutique teams to share sales performance, identify opportunities, and support business-driving actions.
- Perform strategic analysis of stock performance and network strategy and propose action plans to improve sales.
- Lead the local event (caravan) program, coordinating rotation calendars, localized assortments, product dispatch, and sales tracking.
- Manage day-to-day product and inventory support, including stock requests, weekly stock rebalancing, and client orders from initiation through completion.
- Support assortment and inventory planning for events and new store openings and prepare product launch tools and selling materials.
- Manage the corporate and retail consignment program and provide guidance and day-to-day support to a trainee.
- Prepare weekly sales reports, participate in forecasting meetings, and provide detailed business analysis and performance insights.
Requirements
- Full-time availability Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with Friday designated as a work-from-home day.
- Minimum of 5 years of merchandising and/or buying experience; Fine Jewelry & Timepieces experience preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, with strength in PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience managing inventory, assortment planning, sales reporting, and coordinating retail events.
