New Product Integration (NPI) Engineer

Summary

The New Product Integration (NPI) Engineer establishes robust, repeatable manufacturing specifications for new designs across the development lifecycle. The role partners with NPI Project Leads and cross functional teams to define routing, determine manufacturing offsets, verify process calculations, and ensure prototypes and production test runs meet critical requirements. The engineer supports launches and maintains technical data to reduce trial and error on future projects.

Responsibilities

• Define manufacturing specifications, initial routing recommendations, and process maps for new products and dual sourcing projects.
• Determine manufacturing offsets, verify process calculations, and validate fixturing and tooling with cross functional teams.
• Lead engineering phases during development and support manufacturing for the first six months post launch.
• Author product specific work instructions and submit and track tool room and print requests.
• Inspect and measure components, assemblies, and samples; compile technical data and present project status updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 5 years of related experience.
• Proficiency or comfort with CAD software (Rhino, SolidWorks, Mastercam) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, OneNote).
• Strong project management skills and effective verbal, written, and presentation communication.
• Preferred: knowledge of modern jewelry manufacturing techniques, familiarity with statistical tools (Minitab), Six Sigma certification, PMP certification, and multilingual (Spanish).
