Operations Associate

Summary

Support Associate responsible for stocking, receiving, order fulfillment, merchandise handling, and maintaining stockroom organization to support store sales and customer experience. Works under the direction of leads and managers at a Neiman Marcus store and assists with in-store events and activations. Role requires physical tasks and a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Handle merchandise processing transfers and inbound and outbound freight
• Fulfill pack and ship online and store customer orders
• Perform merchandise placements and ensure merchandise standards are followed
• Execute price changes reticketing and signage moves
• Manage damages mark out of stocks and inventory control processes
• Back stock and maintain stockroom organization
• Support set up and take down of in store events and activations
• Follow safety procedures on the dock and in all work areas

Requirements

• 1+ year of retail experience
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing bending climbing stairs and lifting up to 35 pounds
• Flexible schedule availability including evenings weekends and holidays
• Basic proficiency with MS Office Product Suite
• Ability to follow direction from managers and visual teams and work collaboratively
