Responsibilities
- Receive and unload freight and unpack merchandise
- Deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill customer orders following quality and packing standards
- Prepare and ship customer orders meeting shipping standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
- Research merchandise shipments according to inventory control processes
- Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Support store tasks such as special event setup, markdowns, and relocating fixtures
Requirements
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to learn and use various technology and computer applications
- Flexible schedule availability based on business needs
- Ability to continuously move 6 to 8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for grasping fine manipulation and pushing and pulling
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds
