Operations Associate - Yorkdale

As an Operations Associate at our new store in Yorkdale, Toronto, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's inventory and stock areas according to company standards. You will be responsible for minimizing stock loss, maintaining organized records, ordering supplies, and safeguarding company assets through proper inventory control procedures.

• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of all shipping and receiving functions affecting store inventory.
• Maintain an orderly and neat stock and receiving area, ensuring merchandise is properly ticketed and sensored.
• Process all inbound freight, returns-to-vendors, chargebacks, transfers, and damages according to company policies.
• Support compliance with company policies and standards, including safekeeping of funds and property.
• Participate in inventory and cycle counts.
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.
• Complete price changes within the boutique.
• Assist in packing or wrapping customers’ merchandise when necessary.
• Participate in store meetings and training seminars.

• Ability to handle receiving operations effectively, including proper handling of merchandise.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation.
• Proficiency in processing information and merchandise through computer systems.
• Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy lifting.
• Previous retail stock/shipping/receiving experience required.
