Job Description

Summary

The Operations Manager at the Southern Cal Distribution Center is a seasoned leader responsible for supporting the business strategy through effective team leadership and development. This role focuses on delivering customer satisfaction, driving results, and meeting financial standards by managing budgets and expenditures.

Responsibilities
  • Support business strategy by ensuring safety, quality, and performance.
  • Lead and develop a team of approximately 20 employees.
  • Recruit, select, onboard, and train new team members.
  • Coach, counsel, and discipline employees to drive results.
  • Enhance professional and technical knowledge through continuous learning.
  • Implement process improvements using problem-solving and project management.
  • Meet financial standards by managing budgets and expenditures.
  • Drive KPI metrics and facility performance scorecards.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of warehouse experience in a managerial role.
  • Proven ability to implement continuous improvement actions.
  • Experience in developing leadership competencies in direct reports.
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing KPIs.
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse management software.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
