Operations Manager - Training

Summary

The Operations Manager leads and develops a team to support warehouse business goals and deliver results in safety, quality, and performance. This role drives continuous improvement, monitors key performance indicators, and manages financial standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and grow the performance of a team of approximately 20 employees.
• Recruit, select, onboard, and train team members; coach and manage performance.
• Drive safety, quality, productivity, and warehouse performance metrics.
• Lead process improvement initiatives using problem-solving and continuous improvement methods.
• Monitor expenditures, identify budget variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Use performance scorecards and warehouse KPIs to guide results.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of warehouse experience in a managerial role.
• Experience implementing continuous improvement actions with measurable results in cost, service, and quality.
• Demonstrated ability to develop employees and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse KPIs and experience with warehouse management software and databases.
• Ability to analyze data and identify improvement opportunities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
