Summary
The West Coast Operations Manager oversees consistent execution of operational practices across 20+ stores on the west coast, reporting to the Director of Retail Operations. This role drives operational excellence, supports store events and openings, manages inventory and uniform allocation, and provides onsite and virtual training to store management.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures across regional retail locations
- Support implementation of initiatives to improve store operational efficiency
- Provide onsite support for market selling events requiring operational oversight
- Oversee regional supply orders and enforce budgetary constraints
- Manage allocation and receipt confirmation of retail uniforms and branded packaging inventory
- Monitor cycle counts and manage annual physical inventory and stock adjustments
- Plan and manage operational activities for store openings closings and relocations
- Perform routine in-person and virtual store visits to ensure stock room organization
- Conduct operational onboarding and ad hoc training for newly hired store management
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of retail operational management experience
- Multi-store management experience preferred
- Strong leadership problem-solving and communication skills
- High attention to detail organization and ability to multi-task
- Proactive and adaptable to changing priorities
- Proficient in POS and inventory management systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel Word and PowerPoint
