Operations Professional

Summary

The Operations Professional supports the back-of-house functions of a retail store, partnering with sales, management, and corporate teams to drive store performance. This role focuses on order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, merchandising logistics, and client service related to product care and repairs. The position requires strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail to ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, replenishment, transfers, and related logistics tasks.
• Clean and care for jewelry, accept items for repair, and manage product handling per company procedures.
• Monitor and reconcile merchandise inventory using reports and systems; report discrepancies to management or corporate partners.
• Handle internal and external phone and email correspondence and partner with Sales Professionals to support sales opportunities and client follow-up.
• Support operational efficiency by following company policies and providing feedback on process improvements.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work retail store hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Organized, flexible, and able to perform varied tasks based on business needs.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Preferred: college/university degree and graduate gemologist degree or GIA coursework.
