Operations Professional

Summary

The Operations Professional manages back-of-house store operations to support sales and customer service. This role oversees order fulfillment, inventory management, shipping and receiving, and merchandise processing while collaborating with sales advisors and management. The focus is on ensuring operational accuracy and delivering exceptional client experiences through efficient processes and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support including order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, replenishment, and merchandise transfers.
• Monitor and reconcile inventory using systems and reports; report discrepancies to management or corporate partners.
• Clean and prepare jewelry, process repairs, and ensure proper care and handling of merchandise.
• Capture client data, handle internal and external phone and email correspondence, and partner with client advisors to optimize sales opportunities.
• Follow company operational policies and procedures and provide feedback to improve processes and productivity.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Organized, detail oriented, and flexible to perform varied tasks.
• Ability to work retail store hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Preferred: college/university degree or GIA coursework/graduate gemologist credentials.
