Summary
Provide back of house operational leadership in a retail store to ensure inventory accuracy, fulfill orders, manage shipping and receiving, and support sales and client service activities. Act as a key holder and manager on duty when needed, mentoring team members and partnering with store leadership to drive sales goals and deliver exceptional client experiences.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily operations including order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, replenishment, and merchandise transfers.
- Manage inventory accuracy and comply with internal control procedures.
- Clean and maintain jewelry and merchandise and process jewelry repairs.
- Act as key holder and manager on duty, opening and closing store as required.
- Partner with sales staff and management to support store sales plans and initiatives.
- Collect and record customer data to build client relationships and support sales.
- Improve operational efficiency and provide feedback on process changes.
- Coordinate work and mentor team members to improve performance.
Requirements
- 2 years of prior retail operations experience including merchandising, client service, administration, and shipping.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work retail store hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Organized and flexible to perform varied tasks based on business needs.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- College degree or Gemological training preferred but not required.
