Summary
Operations Supervisor reporting to the General Manager responsible for back of house operations, inventory integrity, shipping and receiving, and supporting store opening and closing procedures while maintaining high operational standards in a luxury retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor sales floor stock to ensure pieces are represented with current visual merchandising sets.
- Communicate stock level and product quality issues to management to prevent shrink.
- Maintain a clean and organized stock room and reorganize BOH to maximize efficiency.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks efficiently and process customer shipments to company standards.
- Assist with physical inventory, cycle counts, resolving discrepancies and adjustments.
- Carry out Key Holder duties including opening and closing the store and closing out POS.
- Process damages monthly and track repairs for COG and stock, communicating progress as needed.
- Prepare corporate finance packs bi-monthly and keep accurate records of stock movement.
- Monitor store supply levels and manage consolidations and transfers within deadlines.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years experience in a retail back of house environment; luxury retail preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build partnerships with associates and corporate partners.
- Proficiency with retail POS systems, Word, Excel and email.
- Self-motivated with a proactive, positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a high paced environment and multi-task while balancing daily responsibilities.
