Summary
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing non-selling boutique functions including shipping and receiving, inventory control, loss prevention, POS operations, facilities maintenance, and assisting Boutique Management to ensure smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise shipping and receiving and verify purchase orders and ticketing.
- Maintain orderly stock and receiving areas and participate in inventory and cycle counts.
- Oversee compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Train, coach, and lead associates on POS, returns, alterations, and security procedures.
- Monitor accuracy of receiving, transfers, damages, and returns to vendor.
- Produce and maintain operational reports and records.
- Lock and secure the store and oversee opening and closing procedures.
- Assist with payroll management and associate scheduling to meet budgets.
- Address service, efficiency, and productivity issues to improve store performance.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of retail stock associate experience with an operations background.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule including varied hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move and handle boxes and fixtures.
- Willingness to adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Availability to travel as needed.
