Summary
The Operations Supervisor manages back-of-house operations including shipment processing, allocations, distribution and inventory replenishment while partnering with store leadership to align operational activities with company standards and sales potential.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of back-of-house staff and support their professional development through coaching and feedback
- Partner with team members and leaders to ensure inventory needs and replenishments align with sales potential
- Oversee processing of shipments and transfers and movement of merchandise from stock room to sales floor
- Optimize inventory management and streamline operational processes
- Conduct cycle counts and regular audits to verify product quantities and conditions
- Identify opportunities to improve back-of-house functions and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with the Store Manager on performance management and provide constructive feedback
- Enforce company policies and safety procedures and maintain organized stock rooms
- Manage reservations and consignments according to company guidelines
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of operational management experience, preferably in luxury retail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and other digital tools
- Excellent leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of operations and inventory control
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds
