Summary
Lead and develop a high-energy stock team at the outlet to drive operational excellence, inventory accuracy, and safety while ensuring merchandise readiness and exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Train and coach the stock team on safety protocols and inventory policies.
- Oversee receipt processing and movement of merchandise from truck to storage to sales floor.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and processing timelines to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure proper tagging and integrity of all merchandise.
- Manage release of product to third-party delivery partners and customers.
- Authorize and manage destruction of items marked out of stock in accordance with policy.
- Ensure operational interactions meet company service standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support outlet operations.
- Maintain compliance with safety and operational procedures.
Requirements
- 2+ years of leadership experience in retail, preferably in home furnishings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with Mac operating systems, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google applications.
- Experience with inventory management systems and processes.
- Adaptable and resilient with a solutions-focused approach.
- Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule across operational hours.
- Ability to lift and move items over 100 lbs using proper equipment and techniques.
- Capacity to maneuver throughout sales floor and stockroom and perform prolonged physical tasks.
