Summary
The Optical Sales Associate provides exceptional customer service, builds client relationships, and achieves sales targets for a luxury eyewear brand. The role requires in-depth product knowledge, personalized recommendations, and support across in-store and online channels to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service and personalized frame recommendations.
- Build and maintain client relationships including follow-up communication.
- Meet and exceed daily, weekly and monthly sales targets through upselling and cross-selling.
- Maintain product knowledge and stay current on industry trends and brand offerings.
- Assist with minor adjustments and repairs of eyewear.
- Ensure a clean, organized and visually appealing store environment.
- Provide omnichannel support to ensure seamless online and in-store service.
- Adhere to brand policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of retail sales experience, preferably in eyewear or luxury retail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with client relationship ability.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and multitasking ability.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Experience operating a POS system preferred.
