Outlet Operations Leader - Brooklyn Outlet

Summary

Lead and develop a high-energy stock team at an outlet location, driving operational excellence, inventory accuracy, and safety. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient merchandise flow from receipt to sales floor and to third-party delivery partners. Champion quality, accountability, and a service-focused approach to support customer experience and store readiness.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach the stock team on safety protocols and inventory policies to ensure compliance and accountability.
• Oversee receipt, processing, and movement of merchandise from truck to storage to sales floor, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure merchandise is properly tagged and monitor operational metrics like inventory accuracy and processing timelines.
• Authorize and manage release of product to third-party delivery partners and customers, ensuring accuracy and service standards.
• Manage destruction of product marked out of stock (MOS) in accordance with company policy.

Requirements

• 2+ years of leadership experience in retail, preferably in home furnishings.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google applications; experience with inventory management systems.
• Adaptable, resilient, and solutions-focused with flexibility to work a dynamic schedule across operational hours.
• Ability to lift and move items in excess of 100 lbs using proper equipment; prolonged standing and ability to maneuver throughout sales floor and stockroom.
