Photography Intern

Summary

Paid 10-week summer internship supporting the Creative Studio Team reporting to the Photographer E-Commerce. The intern will assist with studio operations, learn product management software, retouching workflows, and studio lighting for still life and on-figure e-commerce photography while collaborating on a capstone project presented to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Learn and assist with product management software and input shotlists and data
• Support the Studio Coordinator and Digital Technician with studio and equipment tasks
• Assist the Photographer on set and help maintain an organized studio and equipment room
• Learn retouching techniques for e-commerce workflows
• Learn studio lighting setups for still life and on-figure e-commerce photography
• Shadow studio staff to understand digital technician best practices
• Use industry standard equipment for the capstone project

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in undergraduate studies in Photography Fine Arts or Studio Art with a minimum 3.0 GPA
• 1-2 years of photography experience
• Proficiency with CaptureOne
• Proficiency with Photoshop
• Experience with studio lighting a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to take initiative
• Detail oriented with a collaborative approach
