Préposé(e) Vérification et Contrôle

As a Préposé(e) Vérification et Contrôle at Holt Renfrew, you will operate the telephone switchboard, manage administrative services, accounts payable, and balance sheet functions within the central cash office. You will also be responsible for internal services provided to the store, including general and procedural requests, package consignment, and employee bag checks.

• Answer incoming customer calls according to company standards.
• Redirect calls appropriately or deliver messages in a timely manner.
• Maintain the location's telephone directory.
• Oversee technical system repairs (POS and others).
• Provide financial support through bank reconciliation, invoice coding, petty cash management, and chargeback investigations.
• Manage client-owned merchandise and track other non-merchandise/free circulation statements.
• Adhere to administrative work practices and maintain a clean and orderly workplace to minimize losses.
• Verify company policies and procedures by department/service.
• Provide support and follow-up for audits to ensure compliance.
• Comply with all health and safety policies and requirements.
• Perform other assigned tasks.
• Ensure compliance with privacy protection, regulations, and cybersecurity measures.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 to 3 years of prior experience in a similar role.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Proven attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Fully bilingual in French and English.
