Summary
Lead project delivery for North America store planning and construction initiatives, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and quality while coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and overseeing day-to-day execution of project plans. Provide strategic leadership for capital expenditure budgeting, contract administration, and construction oversight, with travel to site locations as required.
Responsibilities
- Provide executive and fiduciary leadership for capital expense budgets and expenditure requests.
- Coordinate and manage drawing sets and milestone reviews from schematic through construction documents.
- Establish competitive bidding, contract administration, and project financial controls including cost plans and purchase orders.
- Oversee construction, conduct weekly OAC meetings, and document progress.
- Manage capital accountability, forecasting, savings, and approvals for project spending.
- Review and negotiate work letters with landlords and perform initial site reviews.
- Close out projects within 90 days after store opening and conduct post-opening audits.
- Leverage architects, suppliers, and general contractors to achieve schedules and efficiencies.
- Travel as required for site visits and project lifecycle oversight.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or construction project management.
- 3 years of experience within store planning, design, or construction environment.
- Experience collaborating with vendors and consultants in the North America market.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, AutoCAD, and ProCore or similar software.
- Knowledge of ADA codes and construction compliance.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and provide analytical reporting.
- Strategic problem solver with high level of organizational and presentation skills.
