Receiving Support Associate

Summary

The Receiving Support Associate processes inbound shipments, inspects and stages merchandise, and helps maintain inventory accuracy in the backroom. This part-time role supports timely stocking and return activities and requires physical work using handheld scanners and material-handling equipment. The associate collaborates with store teams to ensure merchandise is ready for the sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload shipments, verify contents against packing lists and purchase orders.
• Inspect merchandise for damage and document discrepancies.
• Stage, transport, and organize merchandise for the sales floor and stockroom using pallet jacks and carts.
• Operate inventory scanners and update inventory records accurately.
• Assist with returns processing, labeling, and maintaining a clean, organized backroom.

Requirements

• 2+ years of receiving, warehouse, or retail stock experience.
• Ability to lift and move heavy packages regularly (up to 50 lbs).
• Familiarity with inventory scanners and basic computer systems.
• Reliable attendance and availability for part-time shifts, including weekends.
