Receiving Support Associate - Roosevelt Field

Summary

Part-time receiving support role responsible for assisting with incoming merchandise processing, inventory intake, and stockroom organization at the Roosevelt Field location. Works closely with store and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate handling of shipments and merchandise flow. Role focuses on physical handling, verification, and preparation of items for sales floor or storage.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments
• Verify shipment contents against packing lists and invoices
• Inspect merchandise for damage and report discrepancies
• Label and tag items as required
• Organize and maintain stockroom and receiving areas
• Stage merchandise for transfer to the sales floor
• Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment safely
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts
• Follow store receiving procedures and loss prevention guidelines

Requirements

• Prior experience in receiving, stockroom, or warehouse preferred
• Ability to lift and move heavy boxes and merchandise
• Basic numeracy and attention to detail for verifying shipments
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable standing and performing physical tasks for extended periods
• Willingness to follow safety procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
