Receiving Support Associate - Roosevelt Field

Summary

Support store operations by receiving, processing, and organizing incoming merchandise at the Roosevelt Field location. Ensure accurate inventory handling and timely distribution to the sales floor to maintain product availability and presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and verify contents against packing lists and invoices
• Inspect merchandise for damage and report discrepancies
• Process stock into inventory system and label items as required
• Organize stockroom and maintain efficient storage systems
• Prepare merchandise for the sales floor and assist with restocking
• Coordinate with store management and loss prevention on receiving procedures
• Operate pallet jacks and other receiving equipment safely
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in receiving and stock areas

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of related experience in receiving or stockroom roles
• Basic knowledge of inventory procedures and shipment verification
• Ability to lift and move heavy boxes and stand for extended periods
• Familiarity with inventory or point of sale systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and store policies
