Residential Trade Leader

Summary

The Residential Trade Leader will grow and lead the interior design trade business within the Gallery, delivering a luxury client experience and building a high-performing team. This role partners with gallery leadership to develop trade strategies, oversee multiple trade projects, and represent the Gallery within the local design community.

Responsibilities

• Grow and lead the interior design trade business within the Gallery
• Build, lead, educate and inspire a team dedicated to servicing the interior design trade
• Work with the Gallery Leader to develop and execute trade strategies
• Lead and oversee multiple trade projects of varying size and scope
• Learn and communicate the Gallery design point of view and product assortment
• Represent the Gallery at design events and through consistent networking
• Monitor industry trends and share best practices to support trade growth in other Galleries

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in a high-end interior design showroom or similar luxury setting
• Proven ability to motivate, influence and inspire a team with superior organization and leadership skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Commitment to quality with exceptional attention to detail and willingness to learn from feedback
• Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office and Google applications
• Ability to read and understand floor plans; clean driving record and current drivers license; ability to travel locally and out of state
