Responsibilities- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of restroom facilities, ensuring proper sanitation and restocking of supplies.
- Handle general cleaning duties for indoor common areas and facilities.
- Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment inventory.
- Perform preventive maintenance according to schedules.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.
- Maintain outdoor areas including walkways and sidewalks.
- Remove snow and ice from sidewalks and designated areas.
- Operate snow removal equipment such as snow blowers and plows.
- Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to snow events.
- Apply de-icing materials and salt as needed to prevent ice formation.
- Clear and maintain walkways and building entrances.
- Maintain snow removal equipment and report mechanical issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Report major repair needs or safety concerns to management.
- Document completed work and maintain service logs.
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment.
- Be available for on-call work during snow emergencies.
- Assist with other maintenance duties during non-snow periods.
Requirements- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or related field.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
- Basic mechanical, plumbing, and maintenance skills.
- Ability to maneuver around the designated workspace area including outdoors; work around/with chemicals, lift up to 50 pounds and climb moderately utilizing a ladder as trained under RL Health & Safety guidelines.
- Ability to operate machinery, including snow removal equipment.
- Ability to sit, stand, move and walk for multiple hours.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
