Job Description

Summary

Responsible for the stability, performance and continuous improvement of store-side technology and end-user infrastructure across the United States and Canada. Combines hands-on technical ownership of networking, connectivity and residual on-premise systems with proactive coordination across regional and global IT teams to support retail operations and store openings.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure optimal functioning of network, connectivity and end-user infrastructure at retail locations and corporate sites, including switches, firewalls and wireless access points.
  • Oversee lifecycle management of retail store technology, including POS systems, hardware rollouts and new store provisioning.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure- and application-related issues, manage escalations and maintain ownership through resolution.
  • Manage backups, business continuity routines and disaster recovery procedures in alignment with global standards.
  • Coordinate installations, vendor activities and cross-functional workstreams for upgrades and store openings, and maintain accurate documentation and asset records.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a comparable role with significant retail IT or POS support exposure, ideally in luxury or premium retail.
  • Strong knowledge of retail store technology, POS systems and store-side connectivity; familiarity with SD-WAN, Wi-Fi and firewall technologies.
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN), enterprise end-user computing and cloud/SaaS platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure).
  • Windows Server administration experience and cybersecurity awareness; Microsoft and/or Cisco certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to travel occasionally across the region and excellent communication, collaboration and client-oriented skills.
