Summary

The Salesperson helps customers find products that suit their style and needs while building a loyal customer following both in-store and digitally. This role works toward sales goals and helps maintain a customer-ready department.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling tools.
• Build lasting customer relationships and provide helpful feedback on style and fit.
• Develop fashion and product knowledge and promote the Nordstrom Rewards program.
• Fill orders, stock merchandise, re-merchandise, complete price markdowns, and perform light cleaning.
• Support other departments as needed and work a schedule that varies based on business needs.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and people skills, with a self-motivated, goal-oriented approach.
• Interest in using networking and technology to achieve sales goals.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Organization, follow-through, and flexibility to work a changing schedule.
• Ability to move continuously for 6-8 hours per shift, handle merchandise, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
