Summary

The Retail Sales Associate helps customers find products and provides knowledgeable styling and fit advice. This role builds customer relationships and achieves sales goals through in-store and digital selling.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve in-store and digital sales goals using selling tools, including text and social media.
• Build lasting customer relationships, provide excellent service, and share honest feedback on style and fit.
• Develop product and fashion knowledge, and open new Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
• Keep the department customer-ready by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, completing markdowns, and light cleaning.
• Work flexibly across departments and schedules as business needs require.

• Excellent communication and people skills, with a goal-oriented and self-motivated approach.
• Interest in using networking and technology to achieve sales goals.
• Ability to work well on a team, prioritize multiple tasks, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and meet the physical demands of the role, including frequent movement and lifting items up to 25 pounds occasionally.
