Summary

Retail Sales associate responsible for achieving sales goals through in-store and digital selling, building lasting customer relationships, and delivering high-quality service and styling advice. The role supports department merchandising and operational tasks and requires flexibility to work varied schedules and occasionally assist in other departments.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve individual and department sales goals including in-store and digital channels
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow the customer following
• Provide styling guidance and product/fit recommendations to customers
• Use selling tools including text and social media to drive sales and open Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Support merchandising and store operations: filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Work collaboratively with the team and be flexible to perform duties in other departments as needed

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to use networking and technology to achieve sales targets
• Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and follow through in a fast-paced team environment
• Flexible availability to work varied schedules based on business needs
• Physical capability for continuous movement (6-8 hours), frequent bending, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
