Retail Sales - Kids' Apparel & Shoes

Summary

Provide exceptional sales and styling service to customers in the kids apparel and shoes department, cultivating and growing a customer following both in-store and digitally. Meet sales goals through in-person and digital selling using texting and social media, build lasting customer relationships, and support department presentation and operations. The role requires flexibility to work varied schedules and occasionally perform duties in other departments.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels using selling tools such as text and social media
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and open Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Provide honest styling and fit guidance and deliver exceptional customer service
• Support department tasks including filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Be flexible to perform duties in other departments as business needs require

• Ability to work effectively in a team and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability to work varying schedules based on business needs
