Summary

The Retail Sales associate in Shoes delivers exceptional customer service and drives sales through both in-store and digital channels. This role cultivates and grows a customer following using networking and social media while providing confident styling advice. The associate also helps maintain department presentation and supports order fulfillment and merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling, using tools such as text and social media
• Cultivate and grow customer relationships and open Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Provide personalized styling guidance and honest feedback on fit and product
• Maintain department readiness by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, performing price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Work flexibly and occasionally perform duties in other departments as needed

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, with interest in using networking and technology to drive sales
• Ability to work effectively in a team, prioritize multiple tasks, and follow through
• Flexible availability to meet changing business needs
