Summary

Customer-facing sales role focused on women's apparel with emphasis on building lasting relationships both in-store and digitally. Responsible for meeting sales goals using selling tools including text and social media while maintaining department presentation and supporting other departments as needed. Schedule varies by week and flexibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling
• Build and maintain customer relationships and grow a customer following
• Provide personalized styling advice and honest feedback on fit
• Use networking and technology such as text and social media to drive sales
• Open new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts
• Stock, fill orders, re-merchandise, and perform price markdowns
• Perform light cleaning and keep the department customer ready
• Occasionally perform duties in other departments as business needs require

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and goal oriented with strong sales focus
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Physical ability for continuous movement 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
• Ability to lift regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
