Summary
Responsible for receiving, unpacking and delivering merchandise to selling departments and fulfilling customer orders while maintaining inventory accuracy and store presentation. Supports shipping and packing of customer orders and assists with general store duties and event setup. Works in a fast paced environment requiring physical stamina and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload freight and unpack newly arrived merchandise
- Deliver merchandise to selling departments and assist with stockroom organization
- Fulfill and prepare customer orders following packing and shipping standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan and process merchandise shipments
- Research shipment and inventory discrepancies per control processes
- Assist with store events setup, markdowns and relocating fixtures
- Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Provide general support to store teams as needed
Requirements
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using technology and new computer applications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Capable of continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for grasping and manipulation and pushing and pulling
- Able to lift and carry frequently up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
