Summary
Responsible for receiving and processing incoming merchandise, fulfilling customer orders, and maintaining inventory accuracy while supporting store operations. The role requires independent, motivated candidates who prioritize customer experience and operate effectively in a fast paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload freight and unpack newly arrived merchandise
- Deliver merchandise to selling departments and organize stockrooms
- Fulfill and prepare customer orders following packing and shipping standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
- Research and resolve inventory discrepancies in accordance with control processes
- Assist with store set ups, markdowns, and fixture relocations
- Maintain clean and organized selling floors and backrooms
- Provide general support to store operations as needed
Requirements
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using various technologies and computer applications
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Eligibility to work in the location and comply with background check requirements
