Summary
The Retail Trainer Northeast delivers high-impact training across classroom, in-store, and on-the-floor environments to elevate client experience and retail performance. This field-focused role spends most time in stores coaching Client Advisors and Team Managers, developing product expertise programs, and partnering with store leadership and regional teams to implement learning solutions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver in-store and classroom training sessions to improve selling skills and product knowledge.
- Provide on-floor coaching, observations, and real-time feedback to retail staff.
- Partner with Store Managers to assess competencies and create targeted development plans.
- Support onboarding of new hires and ongoing training for existing employees.
- Track training effectiveness using internal tools, mystery shopping, and sales analysis.
- Develop product knowledge programs and seasonal training content.
- Collaborate cross functionally with regional and global training partners to identify needs.
- Use digital learning platforms and tools to support training delivery and tracking.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience, ideally including retail management.
- Previous experience in training or people development roles.
- Strong influencing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Project management experience and analytical mindset.
- Knowledge of adult learning methodologies and digital learning tools.
- Comfortable working in a store environment with flexible attendance shifts.
- Ability to collaborate cross functional with multiple stakeholders.
- Fluency in English; other languages a plus.
