Summary
The Retail and Sales Director for Caribbean and Latin America leads sales and business strategy for the region (excluding Mexico and Brazil), overseeing Directly Operated Stores and directing Business Partner, Franchise, Wholesale and Travel Retail accounts with focus on Jewelry Watches and Accessories. This leadership role drives sales growth profitability and cross functional collaboration while supporting store operations merchandising marketing logistics and HR.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic business plans for stores and business partner accounts to drive sales growth and profitability.
- Monitor sales performance metrics track progress against targets and implement corrective actions.
- Provide leadership coaching and development to Store Managers and BP Sales team to maximize success.
- Report on market conditions competition and distribution changes and identify new business opportunities.
- Manage relationships and negotiate agreements with potential partners and key accounts.
- Partner with Merchandising Marketing CRM and Logistics on product allocation launches events and operations.
- Guide Store Managers on sales profitability CRM KPIs operations compliance and customer complaint management.
- Build and manage Sales team for Franchise Wholesale and Travel Retail channels and contribute to budgeting forecasting and order management.
- Control sell out versus sell in ratios and manage returns and incentives campaigns.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required Master’s degree in business preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience ideally in retail or luxury environment.
- Experience across Business Partners Franchises Wholesale Travel Retail and distribution channels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead coach and develop teams and work cross functionally.
- Strong interpersonal negotiation and relationship building skills.
- Ability to handle complex multi channel situations with agility and sense of urgency.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
- Willingness to travel up to 40-50% of the time.
- Fluency in Spanish required French preferred.
