Summary
The Sales Associate delivers best in class client service, achieves individual sales goals and builds lasting client relationships through product knowledge and selling ceremonies while supporting boutique operations.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed individual sales goals and key performance indicators including sales volume, units per transaction and average dollar per transaction
- Deliver welcoming client focused service in person, by phone and through electronic communication
- Develop and grow a local and international client book through recruitment and relationship building
- Demonstrate strong product expertise and engage clients with product details and stories
- Support floor moves, merchandising and visual merchandising tasks
- Locate merchandise at other boutiques and process charge send sales per guidelines
- Participate in inventory and cycle counts and protect boutique assets
- Assist in packing or wrapping customer merchandise when necessary
Requirements
- At least 3 years of retail sales and client service experience preferably in luxury consumer goods
- Strong drive for business results and passion for fashion and the brand
- Excellent communication, organization and follow through skills to develop relationships
- Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Proficient with phone systems, cash register and computer equipment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift at least 30 lbs
- Ability to read, count and write to complete business and client documentation
