Sales Associate

As a Sales Associate at Holt Renfrew, you will develop deep, long-lasting relationships with customers, leading to increased sales, service, and loyalty. This contract role is for maternity leave coverage, offering a commission-based compensation directly tied to sales volume results.

• Consistently deliver extraordinary service to all customers.
• Exceed all sales and service goals and targets.
• Build a loyal personal client base by acquiring new customers, developing existing clients, and retaining loyal clients.
• Attend educational sessions including product knowledge, vendor, and Holt Renfrew seminars.
• Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price change, and related sales support tasks.
• Communicate regularly with personal clients regarding in-store events, merchandise requests, and sales follow-up.
• Resolve customer service issues and partner with selling management on issues outside of guidelines.
• Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 4+ years experience in a commission-based luxury sales environment.
• Consistent sales performance with demonstrated results in achieving and exceeding sales quota.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Highly collaborative, working with and through others in a team-oriented environment.
• Leverage social media platforms to promote as a fashion influencer and build personal brand.
• Skilled at using multiple channels of technology to strengthen relationships and drive new client acquisition.
• Proactively reach out to clients to share new receipts aligned with their fashion preferences.
• Strong understanding of current and emerging trends in fashion.
• Broad range of product knowledge across all merchandise categories in the store.
• Initiative to stay informed on new merchandise deliveries to maximize selling potential.
